Students sign-up for a 9 month program (starting in September - ending in May) in which they receive dance training for a specific dance technique, from instructors in exchange for a fee.

• Classes commence the week second week of September until the Year End Annual Showcase held at the end of May & beginning of June 2011

• NEW closed circuit television for parent viewing of classes while in waiting room

Each class meets once at week at the studio with the same instructors for a 30, 45 60 minute class. The class consists of a warm-up, centre stretch, across the floor, and a dance combination. Each class has been developed and designed to provide gradual development from the beginner level to the advanced level.

Our expectations:

• Proper Dance Attire is required and expected of all DanceTastic students in all classes. Please refer to the listing of acceptable and required dance attire. All students MUST have their hair pulled back and neatly securely off their faces (using hair ties, bobby pins, gel, hairspray). No student will be allowed to attend any dance class with their hair down. As well, proper dance shoes should be worn to class.
• Parents, if for any reason your child is unable to attend class, please call to inform the office.
• All Hip Hop students are required to wear INDOOR non-marking running shoes - NO BLACK SOLES

From Your Artistic Directors:
We want to stress the importance of regular attendance in dance classes. Attendance not only benefits your child’s progress and development, it also aids both the teachers and other students within the class by allowing for equal advancement. Remember to notify the office when your child is going to miss class. We would also like to request that all parents refrain from peeking or entering the studio while classes are in progress. There will be plenty of time for you to see your child dancing through the viewing windows. This will minimize distraction and interruption for all students. Finally, all the staff at DanceTastic Studio would like to wish our students the best of luck, we are looking forward to an exciting and successful year.

Please note the following important information:

NEW closed circuit television for parent viewing of classes while in waiting room.  Viewing windows will be open for the final 15 minutes of class during the last week of each month. This applies to recreational classes ONLY !

For your convenience, there is a Lost And Found Bin located in the change-room. Please be sure that you check this location prior to making an inquiry at the front desk.
NOTE: All items left over a period of 3 months will be donated to charity.

All snacks, lunches or dinners brought to the studio should NOT CONTAIN ANY FORM OF NUTS as many of our customers have severe nut allergies.**
