We offer a wide range of programs and dance styles, all delivered with Dancetastic’s professionalism, care, and attention to detail.

Acro  

This discipline is a combination of acrobatics and jazz. Dancers will be trained in flips and bends as well as flexibility.

Ballet

Ballet is one of the most fundamental disciplines of dance training which allows a dancer to build strength and the technique required for other dance classes. The R.A.D. training method will be taught.

*Ballet is a mandatory component for all members of the DanceTastic Competitive Company.

Hip Hop

The newest and hottest technique allows the students to explore moves seen in music videos by combining jazz and the latest pop culture.

Jazz

Work with a variety of the latest jazz techniques and choreography in a highly energetic class. C.D.T.A. syllabus are exams offered to students.

Kinder Dance

Allows young children to explore the fundamentals of Ballet, Rhythm and coordination while learning to interact with other children.

Lyrical

This technique combines both jazz and ballet, while focusing on the lyrics of the chosen music. This class works to strengthen balance, posture and expression.

Musical Theatre

COMPETITION ONLY: Combines dance and theatre.

Tap

Work on the fundamentals of both contemporary and progressive tap technique in this energetic and fun-filled class. Classes also stress rhythm, timing and coordination.

Tots' Moms Dance

Program consists of 1/2 hour dance class for boys and girls ages 1 1/2-3 years old.  This dance class will tone Mom's muscles, by sweating up a strom. Introduce creative movement to your child.  It will introduce dance to your baby and develop your child's memory, build their self-esteem, as well as leadership and teamwork skills. The program is fun and affordable. It is a 10 week session starting September 19th from 9:00am to 9:30am on Saturday mornings. Cost $100.00/with tax

Wear comfortable clothing, and white sole running shoes and/or bare feet.

Ballroom Dance (Adult & Kids)

A Year End Annual Showcase is held at a local theatre at the end of May.

Throughout the year students are taught a variety of steps and routines. Mid-way through the program a dance is choreographed in which the class performs at the professional annual showcase. At the Showcase the students perform their routine wearing a specific costume designed by the teacher (the cost of the costume is not included in tuition fees,) the proper shoes, hair and make-up.

Prior to the year end Showcase there will be a Dress Rehearsal held in the theatre, in order to allow the children to practice their routine on stage with music, costumes and lighting before the big show. Participation in the Showcase is not mandatory. Tickets for this event will go on sale in May.

The Dancetastic Showcase is an exciting and rewarding experience for the students performing, and a delight for family and friends who attend the performance.
